PDP steals N100 from every litre of kerosene – Oshiomhole

The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, on Thursday accused the Peoples Democratic Party-led Federal Government of duping Nigerians by selling kerosene N150 per litre instead of N50.

Oshiomhole, who said this while receiving defectors from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress in Benin, the Edo State capital, also said that Nigerians had been suffering since the PDP assumed power 16 years ago.

This, he said, was because of the PDP’s dedication “to preserve the privileges of the few.”

Oshiomhole said the Federal Government had been doing this by not allowing the masses to enjoy the benefits of the natural resources bestowed on the country by God through shady subsidy deals on petroleum products.

The governor said, “The man who has a shop must close by 6 pm. If he operates beyond 6pm, he must put on a generator, and buy petrol or diesel. For 16 years, the PDP can’t give us light. But if they leave us in peace even in the dark, it will be bad enough but for them, that is not bad enough.”

“From Otuoke to Benin City, to Lagos, to Ekpoma, to Iyahmo, to Sokoto, kerosene is now between N150 and N160 per litre. For every N150 you spend in buying a litre of kerosene, the PDP steals N100 because in the books of the NNPC, they have it on records that kerosene is N50 per litre.”

Oshiomhole also commended the quality of the defectors, who he described as knowledgeable.

He said, “Today is not just the fact of the huge number in this hall but it is also about the quality of the brains that have now join us; and in a world that is knowledge-driven, it is only the party that can parade the best brains that can drive the sustainable change that Nigeria is currently battling with in order to bail our country from its present political quagmire.”

D banj says he intend to marry and have a child this year

D’banj admitted that he was under pressure to get married last year, saying: ‘Yes, I was under pressure towards the end of last year to get married, my mum really wanted it.’

When asked if he has plans of taking a bride home to his mum this year, D’banj said: ‘Well, I don’t know yet but I know that I am intending to do it this year. More importantly for me, I’ve always wanted to have a child, but last year my brother, Kay Switch had a child and it brought so much joy to me. Oregon State student arrested for making a Porn video in campus library

A porn video that a former student made in the stacks of the Oregon State University library is getting university administrators really angry with her.

Kendra Sunderland, 19, became the talk of campus when she posted a video on PornHub that showed her stripping out of her top and touching herself for 31 minutes in the crowded Valley Library in Corvallis, Oregon.

The clip became a sensation on campus - passed around among students on social media. It was viewed more than 260,000 times in just a few days before P*ornHub took it down.

Health tips on how to avoid kidney failure

Kidney failure is when your kidneys stop working well enough for you to live without dialysis or a kidney transplant.

The following are ways we could actually prevent the scourge before it consumes us all…

1. Delaying going to a toilet Keeping your urine in your bladder for too long is a bad idea. A full bladder can cause bladder damage. The urine that stays in the bladder multiplies bacteria quickly. Once the urine refluxes back to the ureter and kidneys, the toxic substances can result in kidney infections, then urinary tract infections, and then nephritis, and even uremia. When nature calls – do it as soon as possible.

2. Eating too much salt
You should eat no more than 5.8 grams of salt daily.

3. Eating too much meat
Too much protein in your diet is harmful for your kidneys. Protein digestion produces ammonia – a toxin that is very destructive to your kidneys. More meat equals more kidney damage.

4. Drinking too much caffeine
Caffeine is a component of many sodas and soft drinks. It raises your blood pressure and your kidneys start suffering. So you should cut down the amount of coke you drink daily.

5. Not drinking water
Our kidneys should be hydrated properly to perform their functions well. If we don’t drink enough, the toxins can start accumulating in the blood, as there isn’t enough fluid to drain them through the kidneys. Drink more than 10 glasses of water daily. There is an easy way to check if you are drinking enough water: look at the colour of your urine; the lighter the colour, the better.

6. Late treatment
Treat all your health problems properly and have your health checked regularly

Cristiano Ronaldo has been handed a 2-match ban for assaulting Edimar Fraga and Jose Angel Crespo during the La Liga match between Cordoba and Real Madrid on Saturday, January 24, 2015.

The LFP announced the ban today after referee Alejandro Hernandez who officiated and gave out red card to the football star, tendered a brief and simple report which reads: ‘In minute 83 the player, Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for the following reason: Kicking his rival off the ball.’

It was Ronaldo’s 9th red card since starting his professional career and he will miss two Real Madrid home games against Real Sociedad and Sevilla.

Malaysia MH370 is officially declared an accident,Families to be compensated

After over 9 months of searching, the disappearance of Air Malaysia MH370 has officially been declared an accident with all on board presumed dead so families can be awarded compensation.

The Boeing 777 jet went missing on March 8 last year, carrying 239 passengers and crew shortly after taking off from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, bound for Beijing.

Despite months of searches, investigators have failed to find any trace of the aircraft and Malaysia's Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) has now ruled that the disappearance accidental.DCA director-general Azharuddin Abdul Rahman said:

'We officially declare Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 an accident... and that all 239 of the passengers and crew onboard MH370 are presumed to have lost their lives. It will allow families of the passengers to obtain assistance through compensation,Both investigations are limited by the lack of physical evidence at this time, particularly the flight recorders,' Therefore, at this juncture, there is no evidence to substantiate any speculations as to the cause of the accident.'

Everyone has a different vision and definition of beauty: whether it is skin deep or just in the eyes of the beholder. Men are attracted to curvy women because they look like women! I’m talking about size 12 to 16.  However, one man’s meat is another man’s mattress, that I know too well. It’s all about proportion; you can be petite but curvy and voluptuous, or big and tall but curvy and voluptuous. BIG doesn’t necessarily mean the woman is obese. Most guys simply love women with curves because that’s what enhances their femininity, makes them women! Only young girls should be flat and thin, lepa straight up and down, because they haven’t yet developed, dem never ripe. Curves define the woman.

For me, I’m so richly blessed, it’s not fair.  I am basically living with a woman whom after several kids still possesses a flat tummy and a “Ghetto/J-Lo butt”. She is no doubt considerably endowed, a flat stomach and a curvaceous butt. In fact this piece is about her. Tsikena! Jimi Agbaje says Fashola lied over tax evasion claims, read full details

Reacting to the accusation of defaulting in tax payment, Jimi Agbaje Campaign Organisation, has released a letter showing that the governorship candidate of the PDP was recently commended by the state Commissioner of Finance, Ayo Gbeleyi, for fulfilling his tax obligations.

The governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola, had stated on Wednesday, January, 28, at the eighth Annual Lagos State Taxation Stakeholders’ Conference in Ikeja, that Agbaje was a ‘serial tax defaulter’ and as such, Lagosians should reject him at the governorship election.

Fashola had said: “I know that you have to vote next month, but look at that candidate that will take over from me. And be careful of who to vote for. You will remember in 2007, Jimi Agbaje claimed that he was in Democratic People’s Alliance and later crossed to the PDP. You know that he manages a pharmacy called Jaykay Pharmacy, located at 9, Randle Close, Apapa. His pharmacy has not paid Land Use Charge for 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.”

“They paid in 2013 and 2014 because they discovered that the election would be holding in 2015. His pharmacy owes this state N1, 629, 064.62.”

In a swift response, the Director, Media and Publicity, Jimi Agbaje Campaign Organisation, Felix Oboagwina, refuted the claims, saying his principal was praised by the Commissioner for Finance, Ayo Gbeleyi, for paying the Land Use Charge on his residence.

He said: “Although he founded JayKay Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Agbaje left the directorship of the company in 2006, and this is on record with the state. He is no longer involved in the running of the company. And today, he is not even an Executive Director. We have a letter signed by Ayo Gbeleyi, the Commissioner for Finance in Lagos State, where Agbaje received commendations for fulfilling his tax obligations.”

In the purported letter from the Ministry of Finance in Lagos, Agbaje was said to have been consistent in his payment of Land Use Charge, however, the letter released was post-dated to Friday, January 30, which raises red flags over its authenticity.

The letter said in part: “A review of our payment records from 2011 shows that you have been consistent with the payment of Land Use Charge on the above property (Agbaje’s residence in Apapa).”

“The Lagos State Government wishes to express its appreciation to you on your consistent fulfilment of your civil responsibility and your singular contribution towards the development of the state. We look forward to your continued cooperation in this regard.” see a copy of letter below:

Girlfriend Falls To Her Death After Jumping Up Because Her Boyfriend Proposed To Her

This is really sad, I mean what’s supposed to be a day of joy for the girl and for the couple turns out to be the saddest moment for the fiance.

A woman whose boyfriend proposed to her on top of a cliff died after she jumped in excitement and fell over the edge. Dimitrina Dimitrova’s boyfriend had walked her to a beauty spot in Ibiza famed for its sunset views to ask for her hand in marriage. But local police say the woman lost her balance when jumping up and down during the marriage proposal and tumbled off the side. ‘Everything is pointing towards the death being the result of a tragic freak accident,’ a local Civil Guard spokesman said.

Man Resurrects As Family Prepares To Bury Him in China

One more man rose from the dead as his family was preparing to bury him, in eastern China.

Three months ago Guo Liu collapsed and was rushed to hospital with severe cerebral haemorrhaging. Soon he fell into a coma and was presumed dead by doctors. After awhile the body was transported home and all funeral arrangements were made.

But when his family members gathered to grieve and mourn the deceased they heard rattling sound coming from the coffin. After opening it they found their beloved relative coughing, crying and alive. And immediately rushed him back to hospital into intensive care.

Speaking about the miraculous resurrection Liu’s wife Qing Mai said, “It was very sad and we were sort of expecting it as we knew he couldn’t stay like that forever. But as we were preparing for him to be buried we heard a wheezing sound coming from the coffin. When we went to see what it was we saw he was breathing and crying.”

Shocked hospital spokesman said, “I have never seen anything like this before. He will now be kept under constant observation until he recovers fully and we will then be able to assess just how bad the brain damage is. It is likely that his speech, memories and mobility will be severely affected though.”

Nigeria wins gold at Africa Senior Table Tennis championship

Nigeria won its first gold medal in the men’s double event of the Africa Senior Table Tennis Championship. The duo of Aruna Quadri and Kazeem Makanjuola defeated their compatriot Onaolapo Ojo and Jide Ogidiolu on Wednesday at the ongoing ITTF 2015 Africa Senior Table Tennis Championships in Cairo, Egypt.
Reports showed that Ojo and Ogidiolu were rewarded with silver medals. The victory gave the country its first gold medal in the doubles event of the championship. Nosiru Bello, the head coach Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) said that it was a good development to see all Nigerians playing in the final of the men’s double event of the championship.
