its finaly over: Idina Menzel And Taye Diggs Quietly Finalize Their Divorce

Sorry, "Rent" fans. It's officially over.
Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have been separated for a year, but the two actors have now finalized their divorce, according to TMZ. The couple, which met on the original Broadway production of "Rent" in 1996, announced their split in December of 2013 after 10 years of marriage. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the couple quietly finalized their divorce on Dec. 3 2014, one month after Diggs filed a divorce petition. The two said in their initial announcement that their primary concern was their 5-year-old son, Walker Nathaniel Diggs.
Last June, Diggs opened up about the separation in an interview with Redbook, saying he wasn't surprised by the public's reaction to their split. "There weren't a lot of couples like us in the theater community," he said. "It was easy for people to root for us." Diggs made a public appearance withnew girlfriend, model Amanza Smith Brown, last June at the BET Awards.
Menzel also opened up about the split and about being single. The actress told Redbook in November that she's open to dating, but she doesn't have much time for it. "They'd have to meet me at, like, midnight after the show, and that's kind of slutty, isn't it?"

Apple sued for hiding storage space in iOS 8

Apple Inc misleads consumers about the amount of storage space used by its iOS 8 operating system in iPhones, iPods and iPads, two users claimed in a suit targeting the software, adding a new wrinkle to a product introduction that has been riddled with hiccups and missteps. Apple, the world’s most valuable technology company, doesn’t tell users that “as much as 23.1% of the advertised storage capacity of the devices will be consumed by iOS 8,” the two Florida men claimed in a suit filed on Thursday in San Jose, California, federal court. Apple uses the space shortage to drive consumers to its fee-based iCloud storage system, they said. Apple “gives less storage capacity than advertised, only to offer to sell that capacity in a desperate moment, e.g., when a consumer is trying to record or take photos at a child’s or grandchild’s recital, basketball game or wedding,” Paul Orshan and Christopher Endara said in their complaint. The men seek to recover millions of dollars on behalf of a nationwide class of Apple’s mobile-devices users.

Apple touted record sales of 10 million iPhones during the opening weekend release of the latest models in September but the celebration was cut short by an iOS software update that disabled cellular service. Users also complained a fingerprint-reading feature didn’t work after the update and the operating system was found to cause popular applications to crash more frequently than the previous system. Apple pulled the update and replaced it on September 25. Apple apologized for the early iOS glitches and said that fewer than 40,000 iPhone 6 and 6 Plus devices were affected by the iOS 8.0.1 problem that caused users to lose cellular reception. Cupertino, California-based Apple didn’t immediately respond to phone and e-mail messages seeking comment on the suit. The case is Orshan vs Apple Inc., 14-cv-05659, US District Court, Northern District of California (San Jose).

Judiciary workers in Kano begin indefinite strike

The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) Kano State chapter, on Friday, directed all its members in the state to go on an indefinite strike. Mr Suleman Aliyu, the secretary of the union in the state, disclosed this while speaking with newsmen in Kano. He said the action was part of decisions taken by judiciary workers to persuade the Federal Government to grant autonomy to judicial arm of government, NAN reports. “The union has ordered all it members to start an indefinite strike action from Friday, meaning that all courts in the state will remain closed indefinitely,” he said.

According to him, the action is necessary following the alleged failure of the Federal Government to implement a verdict of a Federal High court of the Jan.13, 2014. “We have passed the directives to all our members in Kano and they have complied because we went round and we are satisfied with the level of compliance”, he said. Aliyu maintained that the strike would continue until the Federal Government meets the union’s demands.

JUSTIN BIEBER SUED

The man claiming Justin Bieber's thugs beat him to a bloody mess at a Southampton nightclub is finally taking him to court and demanding the singer pay up.

As TMZ previously reported ... Biebs' crew was investigated by police for the violent brawl last year at South Pointe nightclub that allegedly left 22-year-old Wayne Rennalls covered in cuts and bruises.

Cops weren't interested in Bieber -- since he didn't touch anyone -- but in a new lawsuit Rennalls says Justin's security team was on his payroll, so it's on him to make it right financially. In the docs, he also puts the club on blast for allegedly slipping drinks to then 19-year-old Bieber.

Rennalls says his pain and stress are worth big bucks. He's suing for an unspecified amount of cash from JB and the club.

Rihanna Shares an Unforgettable Close-Up Shot of Her Breasts

Oh, Rihanna! You're just never one to disappoint while on vacation.
As a new year begins, the "Umbrella" singer showed no signs of leaving paradise as she continued to soak up the sun in her home town of Barbados.
The 26-year-old singer and her friend Melissa Forde have spent much of their time by the pool, with family and of course in fabulous bikinis. But once the paparazzi spotted RiRi in one of her sexy swimsuits, she didn't get mad. She just posted more revealing shots on Instagram.
"Tell da paparazzi get the lens right," she wrote Saturday while showing a close-up view of her breasts and tattoo in a purple bikini top.
If that wasn't enough for RiRi admirers, perhaps a new leaked track presumed to be of the singer will get their attention.
Two long years after her last studio album Unapologetic was released, the Grammy winner is guaranteed to get fans dancing and singing along if this is, in fact, her latest masterpiece.
"We'll dance in the rain, in spite of all the pain," she sings. "What the world really needs, is to feel love again."
What we need is more Rihanna hits and it looks like we may have found one! Granted, we loved her 2014 duet with Shakira called "Can't Remember to Forget You." We also adored her collaboration with Eminem for "Monster."
But a whole new album with just RiRi? We'll just have to "Pour It Up."

Mexican authorities investigating the disappearance of 43 student teachers in Guerrero state have arrested a further 10 municipal police officers.
Around 90 people in total, including 58 police officer, have been detained so far.
The students disappeared in September after clashes with police in the city of Iguala.
National prosecutors say police handed them to criminal gangs who murdered them and burnt their bodies.
Parents of the students dispute this, arguing the authorities are hiding what happened to them.
The remains of only one student, Alexander Mora, have been identified so far.
They were found near a rubbish dump where criminal gang members say the students were taken to be shot and their bodies burnt.
Members of the gang said they killed the 43 and burned their bodies after they were told the students belonged to a rival gang.
The relatives of the other 42 missing students say they will not give up hope of finding them alive until forensic evidence proves they are dead.
The slow pace of the initial investigation into their disappearance and the collusion it has highlighted between local authorities and drug gangs has led to mass protests across Mexico.

ELECTIONS 2015: INEC vows to prosecute holders of fake voter’s card

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said that it will prosecute anyone found with fake permanent voter’s card in the upcoming February general elections. The Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, Mr. Kayode Idowu, disclosed this on Thursday. He said the card readers that will be deployed by the commission are designed to identify and reject any voter’s card that the commission did not issue, adding that holders of such cards would be handed over to security agents for prosecution. “It is a criminal offence to present or attempt to use a fake voter’s card for voting. Every electoral offence has a penalty. It is a criminal offence and the security agencies will be invited, but the bottom line, as far as our own process is concerned, is that fake cards cannot be used because our card readers have been designed to reject any card INEC did not issue.

“People make all manners of allegations of card cloning, but we are just reassuring the public that even if that was done, it will be filtered and the perpetrators would be made to face the law,” he said. Idowu also said the PVC would be used for the verification and authentication of voters. “It is a two-stage process; when the card is swiped on the card reader, the data of the owner that is already stored on the card will pop up on the screen of the reader, and for that information to pop up on that screen is a confirmation that the card is produced by INEC, which is the verification. “The next step is to check that the person who brings the card is the rightful owner, so when the person’s finger print is taken and it matches the one on the card’s chip through the reader, and it says verified, that is when the card can be used to vote. But when it says ‘not verified’, that card cannot be used.”

Tablets, ultrabooks become 30% more affordable

“Across 22 different countries between 2013 and 2014, there was an 8.5 per cent decline for the ASP of tablets and 7.1 per cent for Ultrabooks,” Research Analyst Stephanie Van Vactor, said. “This decline is allowing these devices to reach a larger audience in a wider range of countries.”
he Average Selling Price of Ultrabooks and tablets declined by 7.8 per cent in 2014, as the market matured and commoditised, allowing these devices to become more affordable in all markets. According to market intelligence firm ABI Research, the average weeks of household income needed to buy a tablet or Ultrabook both declined by approximately 30 per cent YoY making these devices more affordable to a wider range of consumers.
Although growth is slowing for both these types of devices, affordability could help prevent a drastic decline in sales.
The affordability of personal technology devices is strongest in many mature markets, such as the United States, Japan, and Germany, primarily due to the higher household income. However, ABI Research highlights that Chile experienced the largest decline in ASP, 56 per cent for both tablets and Ultrabooks combined; tablets experienced the largest decline at 70.3 per cent, due to the increase in selection and competition caused by lower-end devices entering the market between 2013 and 2014. In contrast, India experienced the largest increase in ASP between 2013 and 2014, at an average of 22 per cent for both tablets and Ultrabooks; tablets alone experienced an increase of 34.5 per cent, due to the surge of an e-commerce presence, Apple products, and mid-tiered devices.
The most noticeable change in affordability for weeks to buy for Ultrabooks and tablets occurred in Indonesia. In 2013, ABI Research’s data shows that 11 weeks of income were needed to purchase an Ultrabook and nearly four weeks for tablets. In 2014, the weeks of income needed to purchase an Ultrabook declined by 47 per cent, dropping to 5.9 weeks, and for tablets weeks of income declined by 60 per cent, dropping to 1.5 weeks.
“Partly due to the increase in models and price points in e-commerce, Indonesia, like many other developing markets, is a good example of the commoditising of these devices,” added Van Vactor. “Market maturation will continue this effect through the next year, especially as competition increases and affordability continues to prosper as a result.”
Over the next year, competition will continue to surge and ASPs will continue to decline.
