Taking to his instagram page, he wrote, “Celebrities marching against piracy yet they wear fake (Pirated) watches. Stop patronizing sites like these and maybe, just maybe they would stop pirating your movies and music. Funny thing about piracy is that it only hurts when it’s been done to you! The same way it hurts when your material is being pirated is the same way it hurts #Rolex #FranckMuller #Cartier #Hublot #Panerai #Patek etc.”

The killing of Nigerians in south africa is getting worse by the day, the south africans claim they are not getting jobs because Nigerians are getting all the job opportunities available in their country, then the next thing they could think of is taking laws into their own hands. Though, this has attracted wide condemnation all over the world, and also from the zulu king of south africa whom there are speculation that he prompted this attacks buy insinuating that foreigners do not make it possible for their citizens to get employed. Mc galaxy got whooped by HKN gang: Davido's manager confirmed

Comedian turned Singer McGalaxy was reportedly at producer Shizzi’s studio where he was hanging out with Davido and the HKN Gang and then bare jokes soon turned to fisticuffs.

Davido’s manager Kamal Ajiboye who has reportedly apologized to McGalaxy on his artiste’s behalf narrated the incidence to the NET saying his artiste didn’t beat the comedian as widely reportedly.

In his own words, “I was actually there with them earlier in the day but I left before the fight started. I’ve spoken to both of them, and what happened is that, first, you know Davido and Galaxy are friends, he always invites them for his comedy shows and most times he makes jokes out of them at his shows, the boys didn’t like it and they’ve been warning him about it for a while.

“So I guess at the studio, he started again, he began comparing his career to B-Red saying he’s bigger than B-red. They argued over it for a while then he turned to another HKN boy, Lati and called him a driver and common houseboy. Lati has also been warning him not to call him a driver because he’s a Personal Assistant and not a driver but he didn’t listen.

“So David(o) was fed up and just told him to leave. From what I heard, David didn’t touch him, it was Lati that pushed him and that led to a fight.”

Nigerian house of representatives calls for evacuation of its citizens from south Africa

Chairperson, House of Representatives Committee on
Foreign Affairs, Nnenna Elendu-Ukeje, has called for the
evacuation of Nigerians within 24 hours from South Africa
owing to ongoing attacks on non-indigenes.
Ukeje (PDP-Abia) made the appeal in a phone interview
with the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Ibadan.
She said the call was necessary because of increasing
attacks on Nigerians and non-Nigerians alike in South
Africa.
“The Federal Government of Nigeria should rise up to the
occasion by having contingency plans to evacuate
Nigerians within 24 hours to avoid us losing our citizens to
these attacks.
“It is expedient to think of where all Nigerians can gather
within 24 hours for safety either in our embassy or mission
for the safety of our citizens,” she said.
The lawmaker suggested that a concrete arrangement with
some airlines should be made to evacuate Nigerians back
home.
She also urged the National Emergency Management
Agency to equally mobilise to take care of the returnees.
Ukeje noted with concern that the xenophobia was
degenerating to Afrophobia as many black Africans,
including Nigerians, were being attacked from
Johannesburg to Durban.
She advised the Nigerian government against delay till
some of her citizens are killed in the latest attacks before
implementing its citizen diplomacy policy.
“Unfortunately, there is no serious condemnation from
South Africa government on this attacks, hence the need for
Nigerian government to be proactive and rescue her
citizens as soon as possible,” she said.
She expressed surprise that South Africa that housed
African Parliament and other institutions of Africa in the
continent could descend so low to the extent of her
nationals attacking other Africans living in that country.
Ukeje said her committee was in close contact with the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs to see what could be done to
protect Nigerians in South Africa, while the House is to
engage relevant stakeholders on the matter.
Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on
Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, also told NAN on the
telephone that a motion on the issue would be tabled
during the plenary session of the House.
Dabiri-Erewa (APC-Lagos) condemned the attacks on
Nigerians living in South Africa, saying it was disgusting for
South Africans to be treating Nigerians like that despite
Nigeria’s role during the apartheid struggle.
NAN reports that Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro, Minister of State
II, for Foreign Affairs, has said that no Nigerian was killed in
the attack against foreigners in South Africa.

Veteran actor Yemi Sodimu seizes pirated Nigerian movies from hawkers in Lagos traffic

Veteran yoruba Nollywood actor turned TV presenter, Yemi Sodimu is risking his life in a bid to sanitize Lagos of pirated copies of Nollywood movies. The actor took to popular Lagos roads to seize pirated copies of Kunle Afolayan’s “October 1″ and Ayo Makun’s “30 Days in Atlanta” from hawkers who sell them in traffic. Most of these hawkers are notoriously troublesome and would fight to keep their ‘goods’ from being seized unless you represent the law. So it’s uncertain if a few blows were exchanged but the actor took to his Facebook page to show the results of his deed. For two days, the actor claims to have forcefully retrieved the pirated copies from traffic hawkers and is encouraging his colleagues and fans to stop waiting for the government and do the same. He posted this on facebook, see his facebook post here:

Wizkid Gets a New Manager!!!

If we were to count Wizkid’s “ex-es” (I’m talking about managers now), we’ll be counting Osagie Osarenkhoe, Godwin Tom, Seun Johnson…. perhaps this is why the Starboy has chosen not to be managed by anyone for some time now.
However, it seems Wizzy is also ready for “change” as he has officially unveiled a new manager. Making the revelation via his Instagram page, Ayo announced popular and well respected artiste manger/List Entertainment boss, Sunday Aare as the man who would be in charge of his musical career. Right now, the two are reportedly in South Africa where Wizkid is said to be shooting music videos off his current album ahead of the release of his next album which is also rumored to drop very soon.
Sunday Aare has manged artistes the likes of the defunct Mo’hits including D’banj, Omawumi, J Martins, Daddy Showkey and a couple of others who have recorded huge successes in their musical careers.

Hopefully, now we will have less drama and more of the better part of wizkid...

EXCLUSIVE: May D denies domestic violence allegations, says he didn’t beat his baby mama

Singer and dancer May D made the news last week over allegations of Domestic Violence. He reportedly beat up the mother of his two-year-old child.
His baby mama Debola claimed her baby father (who she has been in a relationship with for 8 years) beat her up silly and futher backed up her story with photos of her battered face.
May D in a reaction to the allegation claims there’s no truth in the story. The singer made his statement via his cousin turn manager Oreoluwa Akinbode.
According to him, “The truth is that the news has been out for a while and I haven’t spoken to anybody about it and May D has not either. When we read the news, we were shocked because it is false. We have spoken to our lawyers and our PR team and they have something they are working on. We want anything that would come out to be the official statement of the company. We don’t want to release individual responses. Aside from being his manager, May D is also my cousin. Anything I say can be considered to be a statement from both his management and brother. That is why I am skeptical about going into details.
“Anything that will come out will be from our lawyers or PR team. We want it to be official. Funny enough, you do not need to hear from May D before you know that he does not beat women not to talk about the mother of his child. If you followed the news, a lot of people replied on May D’s behalf that it is not possible without us saying anything. Anybody that knows him one on one knows that he is not capable of such. She is still the mother of his son and because of that, we have to be cautious. We need to think of the family and that is why we need to be reasonable at this point. I don’t know why his baby mama would put out such a story about him. It is a personal relationship between them.” he added.
